ROCKWOOL
ROXUL stone wool products are made of basalt, a volcanic stone.
Roxul stone wool products are non-combustible with a melting point of approximately 1000°C. They are particularly suitable for thermal insulation, fire protection and sound reduction/absorption. Roxul stone wool is inorganic and contains no nutritious substance. Therefore it will not be attacked by microorganisms. Mineral wool will not rot and does not attract vermin. Its also has no CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs and also no asbestos are used in the manufacturing of Roxul stone wool products.
Rocktech S is particularly suited to meet the specification requirements of thermal insulation, fire protection and sound attenuation of both flat and slightly curved surfaces of tanks, vessels, boilers and ducts. The fibre structure of Rocktech S provides the product with great dimensional stability pressure resistance.
Rocktech SPI is supplied as a one piece section of convenient length. Slit along the longitudinal axis for ease of application, the section is readily snap closed into position over the pipe. The sections are molded to ensure a firm fit around the piping and the outer surface is round to ensure the correct to ensure the correct insulation thickness is achieved. Rocktech SPI is particularly suitable for both hot and cold piping to conserve energy, maintain process temperatures, provide personal protection, and prevent condensation and to reduce noise emission.
Rocktech WM is particularly suited to meet the specification requirements of thermal insulation, fire protection and sound attenuation of large process pipe works, tank, vessel, boiler and duct. Rocktech WM is suitable where high temperature combined with vibrations or high fire resistance is required. Retention of the fibres by the 25mm (1”) wire mesh prevents any cracking or breaking. Wiremesh can be made from either Galvanised Steel or Stainless Steel Materials. Rocktech WM can be cut to required length and wrapped tightly around the equipment. The edges of each mattress should be butt jointed closely together to eliminate gaps and stitched using steel wire. Rocktech WM can be secured to the equipment with steel bands or pins with speed clips. The mesh facing provides additional strength and flexibility allowing the product to form and hold form around process equipment, ductwork and large diameter piping.
