INSTEX 7628
RECAA’s insTEX 7628 is an ultra-thin insulation fabric with a variety of applications and it is commonly used in the wrapping of mineral or rock wool or fiberglass slabs to make insulation pillows and in many HVAC and oven lining applications. Weaved with a smooth non-irritable finish, insTEX 7628 is able to prevent skin irritation common in mineral or rockwool. As it is thin and flexible, insTEX 7628 can easily wrap around uneven surfaces to provide an effective outer layer protection against unwanted contact or heat energy.
Besides, the wide insulation wrapping applications, insTEX 7628 is also widely used in the FRP or coating industry. It is often coated with Neoprene, Silicon and Teflon (PTFE) or even laminated with thin aluminium foil to be used as a heat shield for many industrial purposes. Lamination further enhances its tensile strength, insulative and adhesive capabilities. The coated insTEX 7628 become resistant to water, oil, acid, alkaline and become even more flame retardant. Made of E glass yarn, insTEX 7628 is naturally water-resistant and will not soak or absorb ambient moisture.
